Welcome to EBC
Fall/Winter Season 2026–2027
Everything your family needs to know before we get started.
Thank you for being here. Each season, tryouts represent an exciting yet bittersweet time at EBC, as only a portion of the athletes who tryout are selected to a team. We do not take this process lightly. We want to sincerely congratulate your athlete on the hard work, effort, talent, and attitude that earned them a roster spot this season.
We know you have options when choosing your basketball home, and we're truly grateful you chose EBC.
We're looking forward to a season of intentional development, growth, wins, and adversity, all part of the process as we continue building confident athletes and strong, well-rounded people.
Welcome to the EBC Family.
Below you'll find important information regarding the upcoming season. Please read this letter in its entirety. We can't wait to see everyone back in the gym!
WHAT'S NEW THIS SEASON
This Fall/Winter, EBC is taking another intentional step forward. Built with your feedback in mind, this season reflects our most comprehensive approach to player development and programming yet. We have invested in the athlete experience through our new Performance Lab, a new Player Development System, enhanced coach education, and a consistent weekly schedule designed to help every player make the most of their time in the gym.
Every athlete will now have two weekly team practices paired with Performance Lab sessions built directly into that same practice block, covering speed, strength, agility, injury prevention, and recovery. This means no extra trips to the gym, and a complete development experience woven right into your athlete's normal schedule.

EBC SYSTEMS & SOFTWARE
At EBC, we use a suite of systems and software to streamline your experience. Each platform serves a specific purpose and plays an important role in optimizing your time with us.
TeamSnap
TeamSnap is your primary team communication and scheduling platform. Inside TeamSnap you will find team rosters, practice schedules, tournament schedules once added, and game details and locations.
It is essential to check TeamSnap weekly and keep your athlete's availability updated for all upcoming practices and events. Specific game details are typically released by the tournament host, not EBC, on the Wednesday prior to the event. Once those details are posted in TeamSnap by us, families will need to update availability for each individual game.
In most tournament weekends, you can expect two games on Saturday, schedule updates Saturday evening, and one to two games on Sunday.
We sincerely appreciate everyone's commitment to keeping TeamSnap availability updated and accurate. It directly impacts team planning and communication.
TeamSnap invites go out this week.
Playbook
Playbook is EBC's financial and registration platform. Inside Playbook you will view all upcoming monthly team payments, update payment methods, make payments, and register for camps, clinics, and additional EBC programming.
Playbook conveniently houses all siblings under one family account, making registration and payment management simple and organized.
We're also excited to share that private training has now been fully consolidated into Playbook. Scheduling, payments, and viewing your private training sessions will all be handled in the same place as your team payments, making it easier to manage everything for your family in one spot.
You can view EBC's Playbook page and access your account HERE.
Luceo
Luceo is EBC's athlete development and curriculum platform, used by both our coaching staff and EBC families.
For our coaches, Luceo allows us to build and organize structured, intentional practice plans, align on coaching philosophies across all teams so players feel consistency between coaches and as seasons progress, track athlete development notes and season goals, and provide consistency and clarity across EBC.
For families and athletes, Luceo provides transparency into your athlete's development journey. Inside Luceo, you can view weekly team practice plans, access EBC's coaching philosophies, explore drills and basketball curriculum content, understand the concepts being taught throughout the season, and participate in surveys and interactive feedback opportunities.
Luceo is trusted by collegiate and professional basketball programs across the country, and EBC is proud to be one of the only youth programs in our region implementing this level of structured curriculum technology.
If you are new to EBC, you'll be added to Luceo in the coming weeks via email.
PERFORMANCE LAB
New this season, the EBC Performance Lab is built directly into every team's weekly practice schedule, combining strength training, speed and agility development, mobility, injury prevention, and recovery. Every athlete trains under the guidance of our Performance Director in a program built specifically for basketball players, appropriate for their age and stage of development.
Performance Lab sessions are mandatory and included as part of your athlete's regular practice schedule.
CULTURE & PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT
At EBC, our culture is the foundation of everything we do. We are committed to building confident athletes and strong, well rounded young people through our core values, Love. Trust. Work.
We often say there are four roles in youth sports, the player, the coach, the referee, and the parent. Each role matters.
A parent's role is to be a spectator and supporter. You are not the player, the coach, or the referee. Your encouragement, composure, and positivity create the environment where athletes can grow through both success and adversity.
Your child will experience wins and failures at every practice and game. Basketball provides an opportunity to work, compete, win, fail, adjust, and learn constantly.
Be a source of stability and consistency. Trust our coaches through both wins and losses. Release your child to the game and allow them to develop resilience and ownership of their journey.
At EBC, we emphasize Next Play Speed. Growth requires moving forward, from mistakes, missed shots, tough losses, and even big wins.
Thank you for helping us protect the EBC experience for every athlete.
AAU TEAM PARTICIPATION
To support team commitment, development, and a positive experience for all players, athletes should not participate on multiple AAU teams during the EBC season. While rostered with EBC, players may only compete on their assigned EBC team or a Select/feeder team.
24-HOUR COMMUNICATION POLICY
We value open and professional communication. If you would like to discuss playing time, development, or other concerns, please schedule a meeting. Immediately following a game is not an appropriate time for these conversations, and our coaches will respectfully not engage.
We operate with a 24-hour rule. This allows emotions to settle and ensures conversations remain productive and growth focused. Meetings may be scheduled via email with your athlete's coach or with our Director of Basketball, Nick Crossan.
We are happy to discuss your child's development and growth areas. We will not discuss end-of-game strategy, coaching decisions, or matters involving another athlete. We appreciate your partnership!
